Neb regains his voice and casts a Prismatic Sphere on himself, he then jumps down from the tree and calmly reenters the Arena, those dogs who get too close end up more or less dead.

The sorcerer then casts Protection From Evil on himself and summons a Pit Fiend, as it begins charging towards those already in the Arena he hides amongst the crowd.

Is Larry in his own form at the moment?? I'm confused as to where/who he is at the moment *starts searching arena, carelessly stepping on Yoricks carcass.*
Oooops, sorry.

Feeling his one good arm failing in strength, Larry decided to skip the second part of the song and skip to the good part...

Somewhere in the crowds...Madman could be heard playing a screaming eletric guitar...

No one but me, can save myself, but it's too laaate!
Now I can't see, see why I should even tryyyyyy!

Yesterday seems, as though it never existeeeeeed!
Death greets me warm, now I will just say good-byyyyyeee!

~And diiiiieeeee~

His fingers losing their last small hope of rescue, Larry again began to fall towards the bottom of the pit.

Haunted by the melody below, and stung by a pang of guilt, Yorick knelt beside he crack of doom openly weeping. His rage had passed, and he was now a man again. Logical and self controlled. Except he was being emotional, so he either still possessed some of his artistic passion, or the female blood had further effect on him. Yorick knew not which.

Regardless, remorse filled and regretful, Yorick pulled out his dictaphone.

Tears streamed down his face. Larry! His soundless mouth shaped. "Larry, don't despair. I recorded you!"

Putting the dictaphone into reverse play, the requiem of death became a requiem of non-death. A celebration of life.

Would this be enough? Would the song infuse Larry with enough life force/motivation to prevent his doom? Would Yoricks voice be lost forever? Would Larrys arm re-socket itself? Would the aggregate take one or two hours to reach the molten lava? Would it thus melt?

Stay tuned....

There are things in this world that we cannot explain.
Miracles happen and we know not why.
Thus, it is not surprising to read yet another such story as the one that I am about to relate.
If you have small children...
you may want to remove them from the room.

To slow down his impending doom, Larry had effectively situated his trench coat to catch the wind, thus slowing him down to float slowly to his death. The heat from the molten lava below was beginning to burn his body, yet the hot air from the red death rose up to grant him a slower decent. Then Larry heard strange noises from above and looked up. A cascade of cement was chasing its way down the hole after him! The heat from the lava began to solidify the cement, and then as a rock, it fell right past Larry to meet the lava first, being heavier than he and not wearing a trench coat. Upon splashing down, the lava began to melt the rock, but the lava also began to be overwhelmed by the immense size of the rock! There had been so much of the cement poured that it actually overwhelmed the lava pool and won the battle! The lava began to cool and harden and by the time Larry landed, it was on solid ground! Of course, upon landing, every bone in Larry's body was crushed, and he lay there like a pool of flesh, broken and dying.
That is when he heard the music. Far above at the mouth of the chasm...Yorick had begun to play the recorded death song backwards, thus meaning life. This music began to heal Larry's wounds and mend his broken body back into shape once again. Now put back together again, Larry cast polymorph self and turned into a great eagle that began to fly his way out of the hole. The crowd was both cheering and booing to have seen Larry's fall. They were all astonished to see a great eagle fly from the hole and transform back into human form, to stand by Yorick again! Nobody could beleive it, and neither did anyone say a word.
Larry smiled at Yorick and presented him a chocolate morsal.

"This chocolate holds your voice. Upon consumption, it will give you back what I had wrongfully taken away.

The battle is your's this day. I lost, and you have conquered.

Name your desire..and it shall be granted unto you."
