Hmpf, and why was that done you think ? Because once they started saying that they were going to use RT in tactics, we, the fans, mostly people from the No mutants allowed and Duck and cover forums started to bombard the developers with pleas for the implementation of turn based combat. And with that game they listened. Something they haven't done, or at least not that i know of, with Lionheart. They have, time and again, shoved the fans' concerns with RT combat in an RPG aside. Remember Feargus' words that 'the future of RPG's is with RT combat (true RT combat).

@Kakero. You're right. The might and magic type of combat is good. But, up untill now, it's the only game (series) i have seen that incorporates both forms and does a good job of it. Usually when they implement both styles, one always gets the upper hand, in other words, there is always one that is better balanced then the other. One style gets more development time, so to say. So that you are forced to use that style more then the other and it's very hard to play games who have both styles of combat, even the mm games, and only use one style.
