Are Cars worth it? - Page 3

I don't mind cars when there is no other option. But when people have each their own car and drive to work like that when they could just as easily take a bus really makes me angry. Public transportation is there for a reason, and people should use it as much as possible. Sure, there are times when that's not possible, but people should try to walk, ride bicycles and public transportation as much as possible. Or at least pick up some of their co-workers on the way to work. At least that way there wouldn't be 4 people in 4 cars on the road, but one car with 4 people. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

But there ARE other options, there are always other options. Instead of a car, get a horse or a bike.

Question is; are people willing to pay extra for enviromental friendly cars?
Personally, I'd say no. But then again, Green Energy is a big hit here as well... (maybe that has something to do with the massive government support

)

psh... cars are the life and blood of our young lives... you cant go cruisin for chicks on a horse or on a bike, you gotta have a nice piece of machinery. A hummer is not a car or truck but it is a VERY nice machine and now i will NOT vote for nader!!

I love cars

I love driving. however...parking fines, speeding fines, servicing, fuel, repairs....arrgh...
it's 50/50 really...when my car runs fine, i'm happy, when it's not, then i'm mad. ;D
