Hmm. I'd say if you want a good night, get her a passion pack. Comes with fluffy handcuffs, and all the essentials for a good time. That's what I'm getting my gf anyways.

Well, I agree in part with Alex - an overly romantic or elaborate gift or gesture may do more harm to your potential relationship than good, especially if she's not one of those people who just loves that sort of theatricalness and drama. I would find it a bit confronting, for instance. On the other hand, it seems that you really don't know what her feelings are so a smaller, less intense gift might be entirely appropriate. Since you won't be able to see her and deliver it yourself, I think something that would fit in an envelope would be most appropriate, since a delivery with a van and signing and whatnot is making a statement that this is a Serious Gift, even if the gift itself is not too romantic. And, how convenient, but cards fit perfectly in envelopes! I think Cloudy's card suggestions are very good.

Had to go with the "I dont care about you and your problems," and commit Seppuku.
Anyways, I thought you were past the whole guessing stage? Maybe I misinterpreted. Anyways, just steal someone's car (not mine ) and go see her. That's what I'd do, but I'm an ***-hole, that way.
Or, wait, better yet: Ride your bike, down!

Dear goodness, this forum is useful!

...well, except for the repeated demands that I "seppuku now..."

Well, that settles it then... buy her a car!

OK, since I chose the option that I'd not be evil LOL, and post a suggestion..

I'd say get her flowers, something that smells nice like roses or carnations. And not too many, not a full dozen cause that's just kinda big. Maybe even just one might be romantic enough, and subtle enough, to get your point across. Yep, that's it, I'm going for one rose or carnation or other pretty fragrant flower.

Just a lot.

I don't know, though---many men complain that relationships with women are expensive. Maybe a new car is less expensive!

Oh, I'm not helping my cause by saying that.
