The drunk'n frat boys had *69 turned off, My daughter laughed that somebody thought calling at 4:30 was a smart idea. Her boyfriend wasn't that happy about the call, He's about 6'2" 235lbs, a rugby player, so if the caller ever anounces his present(sp?) he may be picking himself up off the ground.

Funny you should mention the future John. My girlfriend is from a conservative Presbyterian family. From what she tells me her father kinda reminds me of you Meeting him is gonna be OH-so-much of a treat [img]smile.gif[/img] Luckily for me we have gun restrictions here in NZ But anyways, I'll be fine. I'm like a chameleon, I can make myself appear clean-cut and respectable even if deep down I'm a Pagan Dionysiac reprobate

C'mon, give JD a break. He got called at 4:30 in the morning by a kid with no clue about respect for others and who obviously got egged on by his pranking pals to keep going far longer than he should have. If JD told him off in kind, he can chuckle a bit. Heck at that hour I'm not awake enough to string three words together! Besides, I think there are some times when people who do stupid things figure out they're being stupid a lot sooner if you give 'em a little of it back. Then again, maybe this one wouldn't, I don't know! LOL

I have to admit that I laughed out loud after hearing the first comment from this kid about your daughter. I thought "Holy S***, did this kid EVER dial the wrong freaking house to pull THIS prank."

I'm glad I have all boys and won't have to worry about this particular issue (though I will have to worry about the girl's daddy coming after MY boys when they are older.

I can't match your story, but I did get a similar type phone call several years ago shortly after my wife and I bought our house. I had just gotten in bed at 11:30pm when the phone rang and a young girl asked to speak to me. She then went on to say that she had seen me at the "party" earlier that week and thought I was cute and wondered if I would like to get together. I informed her that she obviously had the wrong person (the are a couple of other guys in my area that have the same first and last name as I and I figured it was just a case of mistaken identity). She then said she was just kidding about the party and knew me from when I had lived in a trailer a couple of years earlier.

I said "Well, if you know I lived there, then you also know that I am married."
Girl "Yeah, so....do you want to get together or not?"
Me "Uh...I'm very flattered, but I am also very happily married."
Girl "Uh-huh. So....do you want to get together or not?"
Me "No, I don't want to get together. I am married and very happy with that relationship."
Girl "Well, we could still get together, though, couldn't we?"
Me "Tell you what, my wife is right here. Let me wake her up and put her on the line and the two of you can discuss this. If she doesn't have any problem with it, then we can work out the "when" and "where"."

Thanks, but to steall a phrase from Holmes, Sherlock not Big John It is Elementary my dear Heiro. He showed me all the cards he was holding in the first 15-20 secs.

The boy calls at 4:30, and askes for our youngest daughter, right away I know he's not thunk'n clearly, any boy that our daughter knows well enough to give our phone number to, she's explained that calling at a late hour isn't going do him any good.

He hesitates when I ask who this is and is thrown of his game, so he's young and not to confident.

He then procedes to professes his undying love, So I know he's hetotro, and from his accent he's southern.

He then procedes to make gutterual comments, so he wants to provoke a confrontation like an delta or echo male confronting the alpha male, He's talking over the phone and I've never met anybody that can come through phone lines, so no need to get angery and lose my temper and get the adrenlain (sp?) flowing.

So I know when the time comes I'm dealing with a young hetoro male not thunk'n clearly enough to respond in a like manner. What's the one weakness of all males in a name calling contest? It's alright guys we can admit it, 'sides the chicks dig it when we admit things, our weakness is we have a johnson and the genetic make-up males is we're proud of our johnson wiether or not it is something to be proud of. We all thunk we are the sole pocessors the most wonderful abilities in the arena of whoopy.

The only cards he has to play is mak'n disparaging remarks about my wife, I know those aren't going to be true or I would have never married the lady, and calling me names. I'm and old fart I've been called lots of names. Since he's so proud of his johnson and his abilities with it, I know all I have to do is call into question those things, he's not thunk'n clearly and is young so name calling means more to him. Being hetoro & southern questioning his preferances is like dropping a nuke on him.
