"Lol"

"Good point"

"Me, too. Well, here's something someone just said, only rephrased."

Actually, if I started posting like that, I would shoot myself... Patience is a virtue, I suppose. Enjoy it while it lasts, kids... I'm going to stop posting completely once I get the Harper symbol.

Why? I rather like that one, myself. Actually, I don't mind your current one either.

Hmm... I just swear, that's how I've gotten rid of the beasty, by dragging a healing potion. I guess my memory is failing early.

Yup, both you and Rataxes are indeed correct. I had thought that I had tried this method but obviously I hadn't. The Rod of Ressurection does indeed do the trick.

1) Protection From Fire
2) Protection From Energy
3) Burning Hands

Should also work as well. Probably.

Burning Hands? Wouldn't that 'feed' the monster?

I think Six is implying he will be healed. If burning hands deals magical fire damage then prot energy will protect the monster from the magic part, prot fire will protect him from the fire part, then the burning hands spell would heal him.

That wouldn't directly heal it though. Isn't that what the monster needs?

Bah! why am I even arguing with SoS... he's probably already tested this multiple times over.

I don't know... I would think it more likely to have curative spells specifically slated to make this work. I could be wrong, but that seems a bit unlikely. If someone wants to try it out, though, I'm interested to know if it would work or not.
