That's really cool. Sounds like he was already working on getting registered and knows what to do, and its too bad that he has to go through so much red tape to get to a worthy cause. I guess that stuff is there for a reason, but the time it takes is longer than I would have guessed.

The biggest thing for me here is that he says that 100% of all money is used for benefit and not for personal expenses. THAT'S GREAT!! I was turned off to March of Dimes for example when I learned that something like only 85% is used for charity and the other 15% was admin. However, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) (This is type 1 diabetes, the one that they're born with, and not the one that kids and most adults get by eating too much and getting fat) gives like 98% to the actual research, and only 2% is admin.

Therefore, I've always felt better giving to such charities as those that do not keep the money and also charities that directly improve the life of children.

Note: I am not sure how accurate my percentages are, based on my memory of them or if those percentages have changed in the past 3 years from the time that I learned them at a charity walk for JDRF. I cannot take time now to do the research to update my information, so please forgive, kk?thnx!
