I'm reading it now and I'm quite bored. I'm about 100 pages in and I see no reason to continue reading it.

G'day Variol. You'll miss out on one of the greatest series ever if you don't persevere with it. 100 pages, that's not a sixth of the book. You haven't even scratched the surface.

Too much politics at the beginning turned me off. He had me at the beginning with the Dire Wolves, but then lost me with all the royal mumbo jumbo.
