Phasing puts things out of the prime material world (ie. the campaign world). The effect this has in IWD is that they suffer two points of damage a round and there pic becomes blurred (as if the blur spell has been cast on them). I have seen two weapons capable of this in IWD, the bastard sword +3 of greater phasing (15%? chance of phasing foes per hit) and a dagger version. Basically they do enough damage to keep trolls dead once they go down. cheers
PS. if you characters ever get phased in IWD cast a cure disease or use a mummy's tea on them. |
