The guy in question should be a Fallen Paladin, really, without the Cha deficit. That would suit him the best.

Well, I'd say Anti-Paladin or something in that vein. It makes no sense that only Lawful Goods could be any type of paladins. Who are the Storm Knights that patrol the Talos temple? According to the conversations you have with the particular guy he mentions a lot about his studies of ancient lore, etc. It would make more sense for him not to be just a straight fighter.

I belive the storm knights are clerics of talos. But your right, a paladin of some sort would suit him. The githyaki (sp)? have anti paladins, and they are evil i think. You get jumped by some in SOA if you have the silver blade IIRC

I think Deathbringer Assault has a 2-5% chance of working. When it does, the screen shakes and "S" does about 200 extra damage.

BTW, his actions throughout the entire game are fine for an intelligent, Evil Fighter, which he is. There's no reason to try to make him any nastier.

Hmmph, I really don't like the idea of dualling him at all and doubt I'd ever really consider the idea. The sheer strength of his will to live and dark megalomania seems to lend itself perfectly to the Choatic Evil fighter that he is. Perhaps it is slightly more conceivable if one chooses the 'redemption path' for him, but I still wouldn't like it and I doubt if you asked him personally that he'd enjoy having his 'bhaal-class' purity diminished either.

Thumbs up for the idea though to generate posts and conversation. I can see the potential for roleplaying a certain way, but its not for the way I see him.

Due to the noteworthy lack of thieves in BGII and ToB, unless my Protagonist is a theif of some sort, he is usually my first choice as a thief, so yes, i usually dual him to a thief. I have never tried dualling him to a mage though, i usually have all the mage talent i need by then.

So, DH, you find you need a thief in ToB, but not SoA?
