top 3 best characters in the game

[Baron Nocturna]

1: Keldorn. He's just too awesome. Noble, strong, and forgiving in his quest. Great character. Everything a paladin should be and yet somehow NOT a bragart.

2: Mazzy. For many of the same reasons as Keldorn, but in a more subtle way. DEADLY with a bow and fun in a role playing sense.

3: Imoen. Great combo of thief and mage. Good character. I even liked her in BG1.

Some honorable mentions are: Jaheira, Minsc, Viconia, and Jan. Mostly, the carry-overs from BG1 have had such intense character development that they must be included. No other characters in an other game have been so well developed, conceived and voice acted IMO. Jan was a great fun character but gets overlooked by myself often since he is pretty wimpy.

Also ran: Haer Dalis. I liked the guy. Very interesting character.

Well what can i say ? Viconia, Aeris and Jaheria. to have a romance with all 3 is just to much fun. to see them start quarelling about u made me laugh my pants of.

1) Imoen (just because she's like a sister and she's cute (and makes a great
character))
2) Jaheira (she just can't hide her true feelings for my (good character with
lots of abilities))
3) Sarevok (just because I need a good sword-arm as a mage AND he's your bad-
ass brother)

1) Anomen (whinny number one, to boastfull (need I go on??))
2) Aerie (whinny numer two, weak, and no need for more clerics and/or mages)
3) Boo (not really whinny, he just squicks and sits all day in Minsc's

Characters i like as characters
1) Viconia
2) Minsc
3) Jan

My personal favorite, always was, Viconia. Viconia > Lloth. Viconia > All.

Reason 1: her attitude towards people rocks. So cold hearted.( i never got to
experience the romance because...well....she doesn't swing that way,
if you know what i mean.
Reason 2: She's a drow. I'm obsessed with all dark elves.
Reason 3: The best cleric in the game
Reason 4: "Mirror, mirror on the wall...who's the fairest of them all?"
"Is that a trick question? Viconia DeVir(sp?), of course!"

I don't like Aerie because she wines so damn much! And i don't think she's cute. I think her character is way to helpless and defenseless. I guess that's a turn on to some people, i'm not one of them. Also, since she is an NPC, i never got her very high level wise so she didn't have as many quest spells as i wished she had...

Belt of Inertial Barrier
Shield varies, mostly Dragon Shield, but Anomen carries the Shield of Harmony and Shield of Balduran too.

He's immuned to Fire and Poison(but not Toxin), Undead fall to his Turn Undead ability in one round, Beholders are a joke to him(except Elder Orbs), he's damn near unkillable when he has Regeneration(Cleric spell) activated, he can melee with Blade Barrier/Globe of Blades, he eats spells for breakfast, lunch and dinner(because of the cloak), even spells that can hit, have their damage reduced by the belt and resistances, he has 25 Strength, he can be immuned to domination, charm, confusion, Maze, etc... ... and he needs a critical miss to miss... ... the only thing that can consistantly kill him is a Mind Flayer(Anomen's not really an intelligent guy) or an Imprisonment spell.

Sigh... had his personality been better, he would have been one of my favourites.
