Normally, whether a character gets Fatigued or not is the result of random chance: You enter a new area and Viconia gets Fatigued right away. Then something happens that makes you want to Reload, and when you do so, Viconia doesn't get Fatigued until a few minutes later.

There are modifiers, of course. Characters with low Constitution (such as Aerie) always get Fatigued first, while those with high CON are still going strong. I have almost never seen Korgan get Fatigued from natural causes.

Using Haste does not automatically cause Fatigue, it merely simulates a few hours of marching. Use it right after Resting and you probably won't see any Fatigue at all, but use it after a long journey and you'll hear the complaints.

Fair enough, I never use haste unless faced with a hard or annoying battle. My party is strong enough to handle pretty much everything else.

Besides that, I only haste after resting anyway.

Thanks for the replies...

That clears a whole lot up for me.
My remedy is to not use haste till I really need to, and in most circumstances I'll just try to use improved haste instead.

Cheers!

Tanith.
