"Lyulfe and Skye" Carlos said to the pair of elves "I say leave him alone" The paladin stated bluntly, "Larry and Mistral, Helm bless her, were heading to another location, it seems. Be done with him quickly." He then left the two and went after Larry

The old drinking stared at the paladin's back until he disappeared out of the sight, and smirked casually "a hardheaded fool he is" then he held his mug high, and fixed his sight in the liqor's surface, as if calculating "yeah, I do know things" raising his eyebrows, the man took a zip and continued with a low voice "how you got in here folks? I smell the saulty air 'bout, you got here by sea, didn't ya? Now look" he bent nearer to the group, and spoke in real low whispering tone "Lord Ember is up to something."

He sat back and began a more casual converse "You are here because you heard the troubles, correct? ask yourself how did you get in here? The rumors on the street said raiders are everywhere in the urban. It is an organized attack, some even say. The thief guildes are already going underground, some are moving out of the area all together." He looked about suspiciously, then remarked under breath "the rats smell trouble."

He took another zip, and then continued "The men in the army taled murderous shadows that kill before your eyes, and you see nothing" he waved his mug cross, and spilling a few drops of liqor "woosh, you are dead afore knowing it."

Shaking his head pitifully "no one knows what it is"

"and the men disappearing, be ware on that one. no one's ever found returning, those who are sent to the frontiers. now Lord Ember said they are defending towns and routes, but whos to tell? My cousin joint the army couple months ago, Mask bless his soul, havent heard from him since."

He presented a hand drawing picture of his cousin "ye help me find him, and everything he carries, and I DO mean everything. 'n I, in return, tell you what Lord Ember is up to. Deal?"
