In the mortal words of my friend Alex, Wow, the sh*t's hit the fan here and the weather is getting worse by the minute. We're under flash flood watch, and most of the town is getting a bit... wet. My backyard is flooded, as well as my front street, but not as badly as I'd though. Some of the roads are closed and well, I'm beginning to get a bit worried. I hope things turn out okay, pray for me guys. And in other news, my birthdays tomorrow!

At 4:00 Central, we had the same storm blow through. Straight line winds 50-60 MPH. Little damage, fortunately, except in Granbury, 100 miles or so from here to the southwest, where some houses lost their roofs. Hope you are OK, S-G.

Can anyone help me? I'm sorta fond of this one girl, and I walk home from school every day. She walks home on a Wednesday. We know each other fairly well, and she and I share some laughs. I was thinking of inviting her to the cafe for ice cream on the Wednesday walk home or ask her to come to the rollerskating rink on a Friday? Help is VERY appreciated. Especially from the ladies at Cloudy's Cafe.

Just be confident and be yourself. The less you trip over your tongue, the better.
A lunch date/ice cream date/coffe date is perfect idea as there isn't the overly threatening concept of FRIDAY NIGHT. It's just coffe. Just make sure it is something that will apeal to her. Just relax, be comfortable, be confident (but not arrogent), and have fun. What ever you do .... DO NOT shoulder block her to the pavement yelling "TAG! YOUR IT!" and run off!!
