the Chronicle of Caine (The Myth of Byvalon)

"Turn back, I warn you." The old man stated calmly "You are not among the first ones, nor will you be the last ones, who sought the ancient fabled chronicle. Many have failed, none who succeeded, do not enter this fruitless journey, for what it beholds for you is nothing but endless darkness." Pausing, he let the weight of the words hit you fully "And you, do not belong to the dark."

The old man appears to be an old fashioned scholar. He dressed in white robe, blue outlined colar. His clothes are ironed neatly, and washed clean. Wide forehead, dark eyes showed a sense of ancient. Wrinkles had captured his face mercilessly, his long grey hair covered his ears. His name is Aristotle de Laruant, a regular patron in the Inn of the Darkbrew. He has many tales to tell, as well as useful information regarding the secrets of the Chronicle of Caine.
