I love when Halloween is on a Tuesday or Wednesday: It means the parties start on the Friday before and run continuously until The Day -- with a brief rest for Sunday, usually.

Last night was a Nazi (one of those parties; I have the Aryan look anyway) in Providence. Tonight will be a Revolutionary War navy commodore -- *beautiful* costume -- to match my date's hooped ballgown in Boston.

And tomorrow is promised to nobody.

My party was a success! We turfed the last guest out at four in the morning, and now our house looks like a bombsite. Yay university life!

On the plus side, nobody called the police, not even after some of the guests accidentally blew up the neighbour's yard with fireworks, and nobody had to get their stomachs pumped, so I think it's a clear win situation for us.

I've just bought Football Manager 2008, so I won't be around for a while *snickers* bye bye social life/work/college.

University of Kent (at Canterbury), in England. Although actually nearly everybody in the party attended Christchurch, which is UKC's smaller cousin, so technically it's their fault and I was the sole voice of reason.

... It's a sad day when I'm the nearest thing to responsibility in a group of thirty-forty people.

Really? You must let me know if you get accepted! I will have you over my place to wander around a party dressed in a towel and a spandex leotard. It'll be a bonding experience!

SOunded like a fun party. I hoping for a non stomach pumping night as well. BAh those days are long gone LOL. Was funny the host was asking me. What if people stay till 3 or 4 am. I just laughed and said that is the risk of having a party. Not like she ever sees 1am. Me and here husband usally save reach other from going over board with the booze. Tonight there is going to be no holds bard.
