I think the most deadly monster in BG2 is Mind Flayer, they r very troublesome, I need to use Chaotic Command and improve invisibility before I battle with them. Are there any good ways to kill them effectively?

Welcome to the Ironworks Forums, DD.

Skeleton Warriors( obtained by casting Animate Dead with a level 15+ Mage/Sorcerer/Cleric), Mordenkainen's Swords and Invisible Stalkers are very good against them Illithids. Use these summons to tank for you while your party pelt the Illithids with ranged weapons.

What do your guys think for Beholder? I enjoy battle with them since I had my Shield of Baldur posessed.
And how about the Lichs? I think they r as troublesome as mind flayer. Their protention seem non-dispelable...perhaps my caster Lv was too low?

Mordenkainen's Swords cannot be held by Psionic Stun as they are immuned to all Psionic attacks. They are however, quite inanimated at times, but this is not a problem.

Liches are immuned to spells level 1-5( except Breach and spells that create magical weapons). Use Ruby Rays of Reversal, Khelben Warding Whips, Pierce Magics/Shields and/or Breaches to remove their spell protections.
