Seeing as I think it was me who originally posted their study showing that Wikipedia was nearly as accurate as the Britannica I feel that I should bring your attention to this Reg Article containing a rather damning rebuttal of their findings by the Brittanica team.

Thanks for the article. My university professors have allowed me to use Wiki in the past, but I would not doubt that such news as this will cause them to reconsider in the future. I hope Wiki can regain its popularity by working harder on correctness.
