Hi Guys,

Had a few problems with signatures lately so I just thought I would post a reminder message for everyone. This is quoted directly from the Terms of Service.

Be Sig Smart: The larger your image in your sig, the longer it takes for others to load it. Don't forget, MANY people still use dial-up internet, and huge images take a LONG time to download. we allow the following as per signatures:

We allow up to 2 Images in your sig. But, we prefer you use 1 or combine the 2 into one image. If you use 1 image in your signature, you are allowed the image resolution to be 225x155 (this can be either width x height OR height x width), and no more than 150Kb in size. This NEW Size will take effect on January 27th 2002. Anyone before that time will still be allowed to keep their slightly larger sig.

If you wish to use 2 images, both images must be no larger than 280x220 combined in resolution, and 150Kb in size as well. Your text sig or 'tagline' must not exceed 300 characters as well.

If you do not follow these rules, your profile may be edited, your image removed and account profile locked out to modification.

Cheers

T-D-C

Hmm, I wonder if my sig is in violation of that, the images are smaller, but it's kinda stretched out.

Nope checked it out Rob. Yours are fine as they fit within the text limit and the 2 image rule.

Whew...Got to thinking about that when I read the post, I could have cut one of the birds, if I'd had to.

Hey TDC, maybe we should ask Ziroc if there is a way to enforce the signature size through automatic means. That would save us sooo much trouble. I mean, its one thing for newbies to make the mistake of not reading the rules, but sometimes even people that know better think that we will just overlook theirs for some reason as if monstrous sigs could be easily overlooked...

Yeah I'm sure there is something we can do to enforce the size of sigs.

As long as they are not to large I will usually take a look at the size and go off that.
