a question about patches

Ok, I bought BG2 quite a while after it first was released. I bought TOB the day it came out. I've nbever installed a patch, and I was wondering what patches should I download, since it has become apparent I need them. Did TOB come with the latest BG2 patch, or will I need to both. Or does the official TOB patch come with all the files in the SOA patch?

ToB has the fixes for the SoA bugs, yes, but you should download the ToB patch and the bug fixes for both games from baldurdash.

Good Question. But I do beleive that TOB has the latest patch for SOA. But if in doubt download both to solve any problems. I downloaded both and have no trouble playing the game.

DO *not* try and install the SoA patch on a ToB install. Im not sure whether itll fall over or corrupt your game, but just dont do it.

But definatley get the ToB patch and the baldurdash (http://members.rogers.com/mrkevvy) fixpack.

Then id install some of the baldurdash tweaks as well, but thats optional.

Thanks guys... I knew in IWD you weren't supposed to install any patches if you had TotL. I was actually considering installing both. Thanks.

Hey guys, another question. I went to the "official" ToB site, but I found no links to a patch. When I went to the SOa site, I found a patch, but I'm not sure if it's the right one. Can anyone help me? And Andrewas, can you give me the link to the original site of Baldurdash. I think it's sponsored by Berkley. I'm pretty sure that page also has a lot about mods on it. Thanks!
