So I finally found the unbalanced spell/item in the game. In morrowind almost everything made the game too easy, in oblivion they did a really excellent job of making it hard to become too powerful...but there is an invincibility combo tee hee.
Enchant 5 items that you wear with grand soul gems and spell chameleon, you will be 100 percent camoflaged. So nothing can see you at all. you attack and they just stand there taking it untill they die. You can also run around stealing things and not get caught. I tried pickpocketing too but they can sometimes detect you unfortunatly.

Thanks, i'll definitely not try that. If i want to deliberately mess up my game, i'll grab a hammer and smash the disc, like really really hard.

That might be helpful in certain situations, but I am having a lot more fun using less armor, no spells and trying to take on missions that are way above me. The other day I spent two hours trying to figure out how to kill 3 ogres with a bow and not get killed.......

...Yeah, I discovered the chameleon trick whilst closing an Oblivion Gate, and getting tired of hacking away at Dremora...so I snuck up on them with 44*3=132% chameleon effect from mastery-level potions I had made, and hit them for a six time multiplier...and my reticule didn't go bright. Hmm...hit for another 6x multiplier...same effect...one last time...yeah, that killed 'em.

Nowadays, I carry two rings of cheese (30% chameleon) in case the oblivion gates are being really annoying, or I'm in a "defend this stupid bastard" quest, which I continue to despise with a passion.
