I've noticed a HUGE leap in slower leveling once you hit level 15 in World of Warcraft. I've been doing quests, and attacking same level monsters and it is SO slow now.

Would getting into a group speed up XP gathering? Because I just don't have time to spend 8 hours a day to level up. I mean, at this rate, getting to level 50 or 60 will take MONTHS or a year! Any tips? I'm out past stormwind attacking level 15-17 monsters at the moment.

Thanks,

You're right about this. I'm a bit discouraged too atm.

I think it roughly evens out when you're with a group, but to me it seems like it's not as much work. Especially if you're talking, wise-cracking etc with fun people. Soloing can be a chore, but depending on your class you shouldn't be afraid to seek out monsters of 1-2 levels higher (just hope for no 'adds' lol).

My level 28 troll hunter has been in Ashenvale since level 20...it's good money and experience but it's feeling like a repetitive chore right now. I wish I could hide that XP bar hehe.

Btw, check out Westfall in that level range, and in a few levels Lakeshire.

Don't grind creeps for levels, it takes near enough forever. Best bet is to take as many quests around your level as possible and do them. A group is good for it as you can breeze through them quickly and get fast xp.

Loch Modan has some decent reward quests at around lv 16.

I never grind. BTW, I finished all the quests I can in Loch currently (until I reach a higher level)

Have you all seen the DAM (doh) over off the loch yet? my god, it's huge! I just HAD to jump off it. lol. It was so amazing, I took screen captures. Amazing artwork.

lol Z did the kid there yell "dont jump!"? Me and a buddy did and man what a long spirit walk. As for the grind try to get quest for shit your going to be killing anyway. When they run out in your area time to check a new one. I know some who hates quests, me I like them. Gives me a purpose. Currently 18/20 quests on docket lol

There is a slowdown from around level 15 to 20, because you've mostly done all your quests in your starting zones.

Take a look at this map and find other zones your level to quest in.

I recommend westfall, because at level 20 you can get your first instance dungeon there.

Vancleef is still my favorite quest, it was awesome.

Just go there and finish the whole Defias Brotherood line of quests to get access to the final quest.

Personally, I had a lot of fun in Darkshore/Ashenvale forest at level 15-30. Except for Vancleef and Blackfathom Deep I stayed around there all the time.
