The Planar Sphere... WTF!?!?!? Audio Error!!!

Ouch... MY EARS!!!!!

I don't know if this is a glitch or if anyone else ever experienced it.
I just decided to take on the Planar Sphere quest.

Anyway, when I first arrive inside the sphere, as soon as I click on a character and they give their response, for example "Yes?" it sounds like it's supposed to echo, which makes sense considering the entrance way is like a tunnel... except the echo doesn't stop! It just gets louder and louder and louder and gradually goes from an echo to a loud high pitched screeching noise that is so loud it hurts my ears.

Would anyone like me to make a recording of it so you understand what I mean?

and before you ask, I reloaded a bunch of times and it still did the same thing.
I took out the disc and am going to see if it still does it.

Yikes, what a glitch!!!

Clean the CD.

Oh, the CD is perfectly clean, I should have mentioned that.
Perhaps it's just an error.

It still did it after I reinserted the disc...but only inside the sphere.
I adjusted the volume settings and it seems to have solved the problem.
