in the Regional Shakespeare festival. I played Friar Laurence (from Romeo and Juliet, if you didn't know) and was shocked and pleased to receive the award for Best Supporting Actor! This is a big achievement for me, especially if you consider that there were about 60-70 other performances, each with many supporting actors. Also, it's very rare for a Year 12 to win any individual award. (Year 13 is considered the 'award' year by many ) Next year I am hoping to attend the national Shakespeare school (entry to which is based upon my performance next year) for two weeks. At the end of these two weeks, about 25 to 50% of the group (of around 30 people) are selected for a trip to Shakespeare's birthplace in London, and get to perform at the Globe Theatre!

Well, that's a little piece of my life I decided to share with you guys!
Cheers, pcgiant

Oh no, I really enjoy your poems
Yeah, I hope I win the trip, too! (Although it's not really winning, since I have to pay the costs myself, about $4000 US dollars)
