Where's my money????

i have completed the D'Arnese hold and been away for about a week or more. talked to the major domo, he said the taxes are on the second floor of the hold. went there and searched everything that lit up. no money. even went in with my fighter and still didn't find anything. am i just there too early and there will be gold there later or am i just not seeing something? Any help will be appreciatted. Thanks.

The money is in the libary, (where you fought the mage), in one of the bookshelves.

Mossy's right... but I think that it also COULD be a bug....
