For the last week I've been trying to reinstall Kotor 2, but every time I tried to run the setup, I got an error message. I tried everything, I looked in the registry for traces of the old Kotor 2 installation, reinstalled Installshield, I browsed the net, nothing worked.

So I decided to reinstall Icewind Dale II. I click setup, then Zonelarm ask me. "Do you want to allow setup.exe to open up a process?". That's when it hit me. A while ago I was looking trough Zolealarm program controll tab, I saw a setup.exe that had no other info. I didn't know what it was, so I disabled it. It turn out it was it.

So this is a warning to you guys. If your games won't install anymore, think about Zolealarm. I saw another guy with the same problem on the net and he was really stuck too.

Now that I've figured it out I'm not even sure I still feel like playing anymore. Oh well...

Yes I found out while installing yesterday that zonealarm registers the SETUP.exe for KOTORII and KOTORII ONLY as a malicious program for some reason. You can then click 'kill' 'don't kill' and I did the latter, setup wouldnt start until I had clicked that.

Weird...
