1. I was wondering if there's a list of (all) uniques anywhere on the net. I couldn't find any so if you know of one, please tell me where I can find it.

2. Do monsters regenerate their hp when you go to town and get back? I was fighting Defiler and went to town in the middle of the fight. I was sure he'd go down in just a few more hits but when I got back he seemed to have had his hp on maximum again.

3. What is the maximum spell level (never reached it, but I presume there is a limit)?

4. What are monk's max. stats?

5. Is there any way to pick up items or gold that Diablo drops?

Thx, for quick answers!

It's been a very long time, so I don't remember much, but yes, monsters regenerate their hp in Diablo 1 and Hellfire when you go to town.

Well actually, for number 5, I remember that there was a hack to let you keep playing the game after Diablo was dead, so that you could get the loot, and go take the items you might have left in town.

Yes, all monsters except The Skeleton King regenerate HP (Leoric instead leeches life when he attacks). Higher level monsters usually regenerate faster, and scavenger and gargoyle types regenerate extra fast while feeding on dead bodies and returning to stone form.

Level 15 is the max base spell level, but there are items which add spell levels that can get your total slvl to 20. (Arch Angel's staff +2, Thinking Cap +2, Naj's Light Plate +1)

4. What are monk's max. stats?
Strength: 150
Magic: 80
Dexterity: 150
Vitality: 80

Yes, in multiplayer games a second player can hold the game open by waiting in town or on a different dungeon level while Diablo is being killed. Then that player can go down to level 16 and get whatever Diablo dropped, or the first player could rejoin the game and retrieve the item himself.

But it's usually not worth it. For some reason the game treats Diablo as a normal monster, not even an unique. Therefore Diablo might just well drop a non-magical dagger.

But go download Jarulf's guide. You will be suprised how much that guy knows about Diablo.

Thanks for the replies, everybody! I know that Diablo never drops anything good (only gold or basic whenever I played), but I was just wondering.

Oh and one more question. If I want to give an item to other character via cornerstone, is it necessary for him to be on the same difficulty as the other one?

If I recall correctly, difficulty setting does not matter for the Cornerstone of the World. However, if you doubt the functionality of the CotW, you could always test it with a junk item before risking something of value
