This is my second game in wizardry. the first was not finished so i must ask you about this.I killed don barlone (purely because of petty revenge) and found by accident (i did not know that he had it) astral dominae. The question is- did i miss something important such as someone telling me where is it?
another spoiler Btw- i am now in sea caves and found a key to martens tomb. There is locked door there, but the key is not the one needed. yet i did not find a second one. is it a bug?

To use the key you found, you'll need to cross a chasm with a woooden plank while wearing spiked shoes

The Don's bit in the plot isn't very broadcast. (i don't even remember who it was that said something about him...i think i had to Mindread whomever it was)
Especially considering how important he is--he's the one with the AD, after all! |

Killing the Don for the Astral Dominae is not a problem. Many have done that, either from cheapness or because they wanted the Cane of Corpus (usable only by faerie ninja). What matters is that you obtain the doodad. You have it now, so you're okay.
As for Marten, yes, yuo have to get over the chasm to the door of his tomb. |
