in the manual they say that you can bring monster info panel up by right clicking on the monsters in scree. but i can't seem to make it work. the item info panel works for right click but monsters dont. is there an option that i need to check? i can only get info as the hit points when i leave the cursor on top of the monsters but no panel when right click.

Ya know what, I don't think I ever got this to work either... may be a function that was ditched... either that, or I forgot how it's done... but I have tried clicking the monsters and clicking the name... neither of which seemed to have worked... will have to try again when I get home and see if I am going crazy.

Right clicking on a monster will give info only in relationship to your mythology level. With little or no mythology, you can't even learn their hit points. With high mythology, you learn hit points, hp remaining, and resistences to various types of magic.

This does NOT work if your spell book is open.

You have to hold the Control Key down and then right click on the monsters to get any information on them. As your mythology improves, you will learn more than just hp, but eventually the monster's resistances etc...

AH! The elusive control key is what I personally forgot.

(Me? Read the manual!? I am a man, for crying out loud! No such thing as manuals!)

An option, yes. Something like 'crtl-right-click for info'.
Probably useful tor these who use mouse for walking.

don't you also have to go into "options" and enable "CTRL/RtClick for Info"? in my games it was always off by default.
