Are there any places these guys won't go?

Saxx will NOT go to, and will be penalized for being in:

Any T'Rang area (Marten's Bluff)

Any Rapax area (Rapax Rift, Rapax Castle, Rapax Courtyard, Rapax Away Camp, etc.)

Any Bayjin area (sea caves, bayjin, bayjin shallows)

I BELIEVE he won't goto Ascension Peak either, but don't quote me on that..

Urq won't go to:

Umpani areas.

Bayjin areas.

Rapax areas.

Ascension Peak.

Hmm, well what about Sparkle? Does she pike out in every area too?

Alas, RPCs really aren't that useful because of that.. in my opinion, the only REALLY useful RPCs are:

RFS-81. This guy will go almost everywhere, and he's a great monk too. The only place he refuses to go is the Rapax Away Camp, thats it.

Drazic. This guy will go anywhere (and I do mean anywhere), as long as you don't return him to complete the T'Rang/Umpani alliance, he will stay with you forever. You get him really late though.. so that isn't so good, but he's a very nice Ninja.

Rodan. Part of the pair, he's a solid Lord, and he will also go anywhere, but you must have Drazic with you, so if you get one, you're stuck with the other. Again, the same problem with Drazic is that you get him late, and that you can't complete the T'Rang/Umpani alliance without losing them.. hmm.

Edit: Sparkle won't go anywhere that Madras (an presumably all Trynnies) won't go. Basically all Rapax and Bayjin areas, and Ascension Peak.

Double edit: One more note I forgot to mention. Sparkle is a member of the IUF, and therefore refuses to goto Marten's Bluff, unlike Madras, who doesn't have any problem with it.

Yeah, I'm getting that idea as well. RFS, he's great. Only I didn't like Rodan and Drazic, they were far far too hopeless to take on the Rapax in the away camp so we had to portal out, get rid of them by fixing up the alliance, and come back by our selves to clean out the camp. Damn. So Sparkle's a bust too? I assumed she'd miss out any rapax areas, any other areas she doesn't go to? She was going to be a big component of my all-chick party

An all-chick party? Sounds smart to me.. lots of female only items.. but no male only items *sniff*

Only thing males get is an opportunity to spend a night with Al-Sedexus.. goodie.. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Vi Domina isn't so bad, she's willing to goto most places except Bayjin and the Rapax areas. She doesn't cringe about going to Ascension Peak, which is a big plus. Furthermore she is a very important character in the wizardry story, so it might be good for role-playing reasons to include her as well.

Yeah, I had Vi and RFS in my last party, Vi wasn't too bad, we left her when we went to Bayjin and didn't get her back until we were ready for ascension peak, which was a pretty long time to miss her. But she did okay despite being about 7 levels behind everyone. At least she usually hit, unlike sucky Rodan and Drazic , and I love her cheat death thing.

I've been running all-female parties imported from Wiz-7, where rotating through classes worked better with Valk as an option. My first run through Wiz-8 was fairly easy and fun without ever using RPC's. I had:
Hobbit Gad, Fairy Psi who changed to Ninja, Rawulf Valk, Ranger, Sam; and a Gnome Alc who changed to Monk.
I build them up to L10 in the Lower Monastery while developing various entertaining strategies against the Metallic Slimes...(the only boring part)

Now i'm in Trynnton with my latest group of only 4 currently L9 Bishops. It was a little harder to get this far, but instead of getting levels right away, i built up my magic skills and made money at Braffit's for many game days.

That'll be my 7th start, and i gave up on only 2 parties so far (3 Rogues; 6 Ninjas) I salute the game for that kind of versatility!

As for the Female-only items, how about that (adolescent) Male-only environment, where even the fairies have 17 pounds of silicone?
