Where to find coral reef?

I remember I picked up some coral reef by the buccaneer ghosts in bayjin.. but now when I speak to Ferro in the rapax castle.. I don't seem to have it.. perhaps I have dropped it.. is it possible to find more coral reeves?

Woa, I'm sorry, of course I don't really know, but I guess not, it looked very special, and I have thoroughly searched every area I came through (and these are most...) with X-ray and Detect Secrets, so... I'm sorry, but I think you're screwed! Never mind, you can get along without custom stuff, I just ordered it all, but I think I won't use most of it...

I think I found it in the Rapax Rift, just sitting on the ground around a corner, before the jail cells.

Really? And you're sure you didn't find Obsidian, which is something different than coral reef? Hmmm, never heard that before...
