Muramasa Blade is probably the best one. You can find it as a randomly loaded item in the Rapax Castle (Queen's room to be exact) but if it is not there, you would have to reload the entire area, starting with a saved game before you ever entered in order to try again. I had Ferro make an Ivory blade and I used the Canezou dagger on my Samurai since I missed out on the Murasa Blade and had gone too far to want to reload by the time I learned that it is there or not only when you first enter the area...this makes getting it quite a challenge but from what I remember from previous Wizardry games, it would by far be your best weapon for the Samurai.

Best of Luck,
Moni

Don't forget the Bushido Blade which has a bit lower stats than the Murasma but is still ok for either Samurai or Ninja. The Rapax Assassin in Marten's Bluff sometimes drops one (just reload if it's not in the loot).

Good hunting

I got frustrated with the blades for my Sam and switched him to the Zatoichi staff. Didn't get the Muramasa, may have had the Bushido but doubt it. Although he started pretty low in staff skills, he's making up for it nicely. Gave the Ivory blade to my Valk, who also needed a better weapon. Would have preferred the other way around for the two, but ya do what ya haveta do!
