Wizardry 7 is "Wizardry Gold~Crusaders of the Dark Savant".
You may be able to find it at a used software store (used bookstores usually carry software).
There is also "The Ultimate Wizardry Collection" (Compendium maybe as opposed to Collection...I don't remember...a friend upstate has my copy). It has games 1-7.
Again, check with used software retailers.
You might even do a search online and see if anyone else offers it for sale.

isn't wiz gold remastered on a cd, and re-designed to work on Pentium 200mhz pcs and faster? the plain old one, if you manage to find it, might take lots of fiddling to get working.

lol. but if you're anything like the elder scrolls fans... you might have an old 286/386 in a hallowed spot just so you can play all the old games!

i tried pulling out some of my old ones, and even with all my notes on which files to change and what lines to add to my config, AND with mo-slo, still can't get them up and running. or more like i can get them booted, but stuff like "attack" doesn't work! LOL!

oh well, i got enough to keep me busy as it is!!

Am thinking Wiz Gold is configured to work through Windows, rather than straight to DOS. iirc

I played Wizardry Gold on a PC running Windows 95 with a Pentium 100 mhz processor (I think it was a Pentium 100...it was in 1995 or 1996 anyway)...worked fine
I never saw Wiz 7 not titled Gold or not on a CD lol so I don't know what trouble it would entail.

I played the originals through the Ultimate Collection on this very system early last year...they worked fine too.

well what i know!

wiz gold is a somewhat enhanced wiz 7

better graphics, it's on CD, it worked under win95!

things i know about wiz 7 (non gold)

it's on disc (maybe 2 or 3)
it only has ega graphics

and well there is a chance to find it on some special sites where out-of-print games are posted - some of them are even legal - so search a little bit

Wiz7 (normal) has VGAgraphic, and about 8mb... i played it on my 486 and it worked well, but only, under DOS

Wiz7 Gold has SVGA graphic, and runs under Windows (95 and 98, i haven't tested any later versions). beside wiz7gold comes the automapprog, (yeah, these were times, when you had to draw your own map , or, in the case of Wiz7, had to use the "mappack" from your inventory)and some other things, like the digital-manual, and a walkthru.
