Ok, I have the Making of a Mage, yet not read it. I will get to it soon enough, though. I was shopping yesterday, and saw another book of Young Elminster, in the time where Myth Drannor started, even before it was popular. Then Elminster, and others gave it some type of magical protection. Now, I knew that Myth Drannor had fallen, and been destoyed. Then, it was re-built later. Now, I am reading a novel that has a human Ranger, and she is known as a Knight of Myth Drannor.
My question is...Which novel puts Myth Drannor back into the world?
Also...Which novel portrays it's down fall??
One more... Where can I learn how to understand the time line of Faerun?? I would like to know which books to put into chronolgical order.

Larry,

Click here for some free downloads of Forgotten Realms boxed sets. Some of these contain really cool info if you want to know more about Faerun. I haven't even played PnP D&D for a decade but i found it interesting (and I have a REALLY short attention span). There's a download on Cormanthyr as well as one on the Fall of Myth Drannor. To my knowledge the City of Song was never rebuilt.

Myth Drannor was never rebuilt. It still lies in ruins to this day. The Knights of Myth Drannor stop people from entering in to ruins to plunder elven treasure that has been left behind.

They also stop people from entering to ensure that they don't get their silly asses killed.
