see. topic. What am I supposed to do when the game crashes whenever there's a battle...? I mean, it doesnt happen so often but sometimes it does when I see an enemy then the game sends me back to windows!!!

p.s. I'm using BG:OS. Perhaps it can be unstable?

And I'd suggest uninstalling the BG:OS and try using Windows XP/2000/98 OS to run the game. That may help things out as well

I'm pretty sure he means Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga, not BG operating system.

I'm running the Original Saga, and I don't have that problem. Reinstalling might fix it. Don't go looking for patches, though. OS is already patched, and installing any of the patches for the old BG or TOTSC will mess you game up. Trust me, I was dumb enough to do it.

This is a situation that is all to real for me as well.
I get this problem mostly when I get into big fights with magic flying around. The whole computer frezzes, or goes to the blue screen, so I have to restart the computer. Re-installing might help, but i've tried that but nothing changes. I am running BG plus TOTSC on Win98 so my problem is probably different to yours.
I think the problem is related to graphics or the DirectX driver compatability.
