If I wanted to cheat a little bit........

I was just wondering a couple things, I read somewhere in a post something about altering the stats of your character(I may be an idiot here, but i'm hoping were talking about Spirituality, Strength, Dexterity, etc. etc. etc.). now I am not much of a computer buff(I pretty much know how to play games and check my e-mail, that's about it hehe) but how would one go about doing this? What files would you open? I was also wondering if it would be possible to maybe alter the stats of a particular weapon? Maybe make it twice as powerful as it truly should be? Yeah, I know, I sound pretty pathetic trying to cheat, but hey, i've already beat the game once, so why not have a little fun and mess around with some different things for a bit?

You need a hex editor.
You can alter stats and improve a weapon's damage and many other things if you can figure out how the information is being stored in the gamexx.sav. First rule of hacking: make a backup!

If you beat the game once, Jason - did you just forget where you get the shield for the Warrior Guild quest??

Actually I never got the shield? I went back trough the castle today and I think I figured out what I did with it if I got it. I had to make room in my inventory, and since it was a shield, it took up a lot of room in my inventory, so I ditched it(I think that's what happened)
