Can someone explain to me why this is happening? I have one guy (male Whiskas), who started out as a Priest. His then became a Monk, and is now a Samauri. His current ranks are: Priest level 9 (yes, I know I changed him too early!), Monk level 15, Samuari level 9, Bushi Guild level 4, Priest Guild level 7, Wizard Guild level 3, and Warrior Guild level 4. While a monk, he trained up to level 4 in Kung Fu. But as soon as he transferred to be Samauri, he can no longer train in Kung Fu at the Bushi Guild! He can do anything else there (Agility, Athletics, etc) and he can train in Kung Fu slowly as he ups in levels, but he can no longer PAY to increase his levels. The rest of my party members can do so at the Bushi Guild; why can't he?
My next problem is my Ranger (female Elf). She started as a Rogue (level 10), then to Bard (level 10), Ninja (level 14) and now Ranger (level 9). She is a member of: Bushi Guild level 3, Thief Guild level 4, Wizard Guild level 3, and Warrior Guild level 4. The only reason I changed her to a Ranger is because I changed that Priest too early and have nobody with all the Vine Spells. But she can't learn Vine spells at any guild! Again (just like the Samauri above), she can train as she ups in levels, but she can't pay to train. Is this because she isn't in the Priest Guild? I suppose that would explain it. But that means there's nothing I can do (since she CAN'T join the Priest Guild without changing class again), right? But I see absolutely no explanation why that Samauri can't train in Kung Fu. Can anyone help me out? Thanks! |

First: Samurai can't train in Kung Fu. Strange that Warlocks can, but there you have it. You'll have to wait and change classes again, if you like, to get Kung Fu again.
Second: Yes, your ranger has to be a member of the Priest guild. A quick workaround is have her accept an ascension quest that will grant her Priest Guild membership (like Paladin, Monk, Warlock), join the Priest Guild, then decline the quest (go back to the guild where you got it from and click on the selection again.) I do this for all my rangers...get the quest for Paladin first, join Priest guild, then decline Paladin quest, get Ranger quest. -Sazerac (See what's playing at the Archive!) |
