Ok I have finnished my forth play through and have found all the items that I have heard of on this forum including the "lance of the lady" (found by a male dwarf in one of the chests in cets room at the end of the game). I have done one 6 character, 2 solo wizard and 1 Solo warrior play throughs.

Question is now what, do I :-

1) Play a solo Rogue - without role assending, so he/she finnishes the game as a Rogue.
2) Play a solo Oomphaz Rogue.
3) Play the game without using the gold cheat (cursed idea...grrr).

OR maybe some of you could come up with more challenging ideas for me to try.

I await replys with baited breath.

Play a solo Rogue!
You will need the gold cheat LOL!

Oomphaz?!?! Ooooooo! You ARE taking chances!

Whatever you decide, let us know your progress!

Did you try a party of 3 without doing any guild swapping and using any cheats (including selling arrows), or using/selling/buying Invocable items.
I'm trying that right now and it's proving quite a fun game.

Another option is to do a solo party where, when your guy dies, you restart from scratch with a new adventurer (ie: you don't revive him or reload). That's how I first finished the game. It took me about 20 attemps and 6 months of play to make it happen.

If you don't want to do that, Oomphaz rogue sounds fun

I did a couple of 6 party games, then did a couple of solo games. On my 2nd solo game I decided to try going as high of an assassin as I could. After finishing I then turned him into a Zen Master and reset adventures taking him as high as I could. Right now I decided to do a level 1 elite character quest. I took 3 characters and turned them into elite characters without any previous experience. (Except the Valkyrie. She got some experience when trying to put the heart into the black fire.) I am now running those three characters without guild hopping or changing classes. It makes it a bit fun because the valkyrie and Zen Master are not allowed into the thieves guild. The Valkryie is at a big disadvantage because she cannot join the wizard guild or the Dojo.

For another variation, you could always let Lysandra bite you and play most of the game as a vampire.

Another challange would be to have one character be a boogre.

Now there is a challange. A 2 character party, a pixie/wizard/vampire and gnome/barbarian/boogre. I might give that a try.

I'm still on my first time thru the game. I'm just getting ready to do the Dragonspire, but my goal is to finish it with one of my characters (my favorite) as a warlock and then I was planning on starting a new party but keep him as the experienced one and then change to a new role to play thru the game (something that will get him maxed at spirit and vine spells). I really want to try a Zenmaster but I'm thinking I might try him a couple of times as different classes and then on the last one switch him to a Zenmaster.

Well I think I will go for the Oomphaz Rogue, I would like to do it without role assending but I'm going to need vanish to get into Dragon Spire. Unless anyone knows of a way to get into Dragon Spire without dragon armour or using Vanish (imposible I think..??).

As far as Zenmasters go I did think of playing the game with a NEW super character, but after tree surfing and playing most of my last game as a premature Zenmaster I have quiet had my fill as Zenmaster (he topped out on finnishing the game at level 132 with over 1100 HP Prowess, Gallantry and Sorcery all at 14 (after enlightenment)).
So I kinda feel I got the most out of the Zenmaster.
Also in a previous game I had a level 100ish Assasin so that one is out as well.

Maybe I should make a Female Oomphaz Rogue and go for Valk..???

I am not sure but i don't think you have to do dragonspire. You can angle and climb the front side of it to get to brimlock. And just use the staff to kill cet.

Yes I know I can climb the spire as i have done many times before. the trouble is I'm a EP freak and I just can't leave that dragon in there. Besisdes I would like to do the quests in dragon spire.

Think I'll probably have to role assend and get Moon magic somewhere along the line.

Sure, just keep a member of your current 6 person party that can wear an armor and cast "call of home". Once you get to the Spire, have him equip with the dragon armor, flick the switch, Call of home, leave him at the inn, go back to the Spire. Tada
