When in WK and encountering the deck, what sort of things have happened to you, and what things do you recieve if you steal the deck?
In the game with him, I have been slowed, mind shielded, stregth curse and blessing mainly. In the steals, I have gotten the skull, which manages to kill the one its after before it dies, rogue, fool and other stuff

I find it odd, that if you steal the Deck from the cambion, and continue to play, the cambion still uses the deck.
Cambion: Wait, my decks missing, we can't play...
PC: Oh, no problem, I have my own right here
Cambion: Oh hurrah, hurrah!

If you use the deck by yourself, you can get both Sun (300,000 XP) and throne (1 million XP), and IIRC, Moon gives you +10 HP, so those are my 3 favorite.

I always go for the +10hp, the +1 to primary stat and one bad one (save vs death or die usually).

I only encountered it so far with the Cambion Demon. I kept getting strength cursed (twice in a row) and the Demon kept getting a band of wimpy fighters that he and his merry band rapidly dispatched. I smelled a rat in the game, and I didn't feel bad about reloading over and over until I gave him the beatdown finally.

Yeah, what I'd like to see (Number 417 of my list of Things I'd Like to See in this game) is an actual FAIR game with the Deck of Many Things. The way it was done is far from random, and far from fair: There's a set of things that can happen to Aesgareth (usually things like having to fight a weaker-than-normal Iron Golem), a different set of things that can happen to you (things like Imprisonment), and a probability of who draws the higher 'suit': With each round of the game, Aesgareth has a 75% chance to win the draw.

Which brings us to the essence of how professional gamblers make their living: They aren't actually gambling.

If I had it my way, I'd write up a list of 50 (or so) possible cards that may be drawn. Both Aesgareth and the party's player pull cards from this same list, completely at random. The only parts of the game that are not random are that no card may be drawn twice, and the 'BALANCE' card cannot be drawn while playing against Aesgareth.

I knew there was something cheesy about his deck. You have to keep reloading over and over.

In the core rules there are two different types of decks - one with 13 cards and one with 22 - and the effects are more powerful to say the least. It is not something a DM wants to generate at random, since the outcome (which IS random) can ruin any character and the adverse effects are very very powerful mostly requiring a wish or similar to be countered.
Just to sum up some of the effects: +2 to prime requisite, 18 in charisma, imprisonment, soul strip, defeat Death (yep - beat a god...), 1d4 wishes, gain one level by defeating a monster, loose all magical items and so on.
The most radical difference is that a deck is not exhausted. Most of the cards are replaced in the deck after drawing. When all effects have been drawn the deck will disappear unless The Void (soul strip) or Donjon (imprisonment) is drawn, which will always make the deck disappear. To make matters worse there is one card (The Fool) that force you to draw again regardless of your wish to do so.
Hope this is somewhat clear. The deck is one of the oddest magical items I know of.

If they wanted to incorperate the deck in the game they should make it disappear when the game is saved to avoid scumming. That way you at least take an honest chance if you want to draw.
