WK lvl 5

Any suggestions as to how to solo the Hive Mother and gang? Im a solo cavalier with quite decent equipment, playing on core rules, lvl 41 (MAX... sigh..) and am unable to kill the Hive Mother and so on, how do you guys go about it? Any help is appreciated, as i just cannot kill them all, they do a bloody lot of damage!

nm..... got em.. took em down one by one, and killed the Imprisoned one after very many tries.... but one thing that is strange, in the information screen it still says Firkraag is the most powerful vanquished, surely Demogorgon is more powerful than him! I know it was a much harder battle than firkraag.

And yes, Demogorgon is much tougher then Firkragg, so that's very weird.

Oh no, it aint! I remember now! You never kill him, you just damage him, so he can run of to the Abyss! Yes! And if you think back, I dont think you remember getting any XP for him!

yeh, thats true, when i talk to Odren, one of the Vigil knights, he says all i have done is banish Demogorgon to the abyss, hehe.. ah well.. Personally i think those 2 melkrith beings were harder, they rarely ever get hit, and unless you use whirlwind its quite hard to kill them.

When i fought the hive mother, i killed the three drow furthest away, because they cast the most spells, then i focused on the hive mother and then killed everyone else, with all the normal spell protections, i killed her the first try, and i was about level 23 berserker. That and the demogorgan was easy, first try.

Congratulations on your victories. No, you never actually kill Demogorgon. His native plane is the Abyss, thus physically defeating him in the Prime Material merely sends him back to his native plane for a century. The only way to truly kill him would be to kill him on his native plane. This I do not suggest you try. Anyway, since you don't kill him you don't get any xp for the kill, which is why Firkraag is still listed as "most powerful foe vanquished".
