I'm currently having a bit of a prob with that damn Cambion. If I beat him at Gambling, he attacks me. If I try to pickpocket him, he attacks me. And I can't beat him(Low level SOA party, don't ask me how I killed the Chrono Demon). If I give him the way out, will I be able to leave myself?

Do not gamble for the Cambion's gem first, gamble for that one last.
And yes... you can lend the way out to the Cambion( when you lose the third round). True to his word, he will return it back to you. |

Is there any way of winning the final round, i.e. win the first two then play for the gem and win? I tried many times and always came up short.

No, you will always lose the third round. So gamble for the items in the first two rounds. You have a 25% chance to win the first two rounds.
Saving and reloading is in order here.  Anyway... you do not technically lose the third round, because you still get the red gem when the Cambion returns you the wardstone. |
