Aura cleansed

Does anybody know what ''Aura cleansed'' message means? I got it when I brought the dog back to the boy, and when I helped the trapped woman (whatever she was) in Durlag's Tower. I got the message whenever I talked to those two with Minsc. When I tried it with my main character (charisma 16) I didn't get it. Does anybody know if that's important, and what does it do exactly (does it show in any way on the character)?

I got that message as well but only when I was a paladin, and seeing Minsc is a ranger, maybe it's a way to regain from fallen status if you have been so unfortunate? Dunno, but it might be worth a look.

Im not sure neither, but i got many of these messages when i was an evil character and i did good deeds. Maybe its a message you get when youve been acting evil and then you make good things, dunno. Anyway it cant bring a paladin or ranger back from fallen status, that cant be done without cheating.

About that spell, Daer Ragh´s aura cleansing, it means somehting different, in this case is that the mage´s aura has been cleansed and he can cast another spell. This spell makes the mage gain the ability to cast all the spells he/she wants for 3 rounds, ignoring the spell per round barrier.

If you are a Ranger or Paladin and you kill innocents just for kicks and giggles your class will change to 'Fallen Paladin' or Fallen Ranger'. It changes your character into a Fighter, except you cant gain profeciencies like a fighter so dont kill people as Paladins or Rangers.

Aura cleanse is the game's syntax for giving you the capability to cast more than one spell in a round, for whatever reason. It's a bit of a bug.

Thanks Memnoch, do you know how long it lasts? Is it permanent? If it's a bug, why haven't they fixed it? Why does it only happen with certain characters? If a train is heading 60mph....

But I don't get it. Is Minsc a fallen ranger from the beginning? Because I've been playing as a good person, and didn't kill for fun. And he still gets the message. Oh, where does it say you're a eg. fallen ranger? Where it usually says ranger etc.? [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you become a Fallen Ranger or Paladin, it says so on the Character Screen and the Inventory Screen where it usually says Ranger or Paladin (or whatever class else).

But that aura cleansed-thingy doesn't have anything to do with being Fallen, so don't worry about Minsc. As they said above, it's a bug. It's strange, and it shouldn't happen, but it doesn't disrupt the gameplay, so I wouldn't worry about it too much [img]smile.gif[/img]
