I think that the only level 5 spell you can get is Cloudkill. There is a hidden one in the area south of Nashkell, and i think (though im not sure, i havent played for a while) that you can buy another one in Ulgoths Beard.

Ertai, Cloudkill is the only Lev. 5 spell available in straight BG1, but if you have the expansion, there are Level 5 spells scattered all over....in Sorcerous Sundries or the ToSC areas, of course.

A legitimate Cloudkill scroll can be found at Firewine, and Monster Summoning 3 is in Durlag's.

Cloudkill is hidden in the map south of nashkel at X=1783, Y=415 along with a chromatic orb spell. View the coordinates of your cursor by pressing L.

Anything I can do to help, Ertai!

It's not like I'm an expert on ToSC, though....I've only played it ALL the way through once. Although after that discussion about the Archmagi robes I've tried to kill Shandalsr about 15 times. That guy must have an absolutely godly AC. Boy, I can't wait until BG2 so I can Lower Magic Resistance. I'm gonna hit the EXP cap, then come back with Arrows of Piercing.

The Ulgoth's Beard Inn is a must for Mages--most of the ToSC spells, and the only place I've seen Improved Invisibility. I'm not actually BUYING any scrolls this game, though, just to see how many spells are FINDable. Hence my Mage knows Chaos and Cloudkill, but not Invisibility (which is only Level 2).
