Does anyone know where I can get some alternate portraits for my character? The site I usually go on has vanished.

yrp, i very much recommend that site, thats where I get mine from. Also do a search, there are a lot of threads on this.

Good monk portraits are hard to find, it seems. Most that I run across seem to be of the belief that all monks must be either bald or Asian.

I've mentioned it before, but I recently put up a new Portrait website with my custom portraits. There is 1 which is ideal for a monk (if you like the photographic style portraits rather than painted style):
