See topic. Dundee told me to discuss Watcher's Keep here, so I will

What do you think is the most difficult part about the Keep, other than Demogorgon?

I had more problems with the fight right before the big D. The one with the sirine-type, Hive Mother, Xei Win Toh, the funky mage, the drow whatsit, and the "plentiful" marileth. Latest game -- Number of reloads on them: 8. Number of reloads on big D: 2.

Just before breaking open that last seal, releasing the baddies, Kelsey got romantic. I think there's a bizarre pattern with the flirts. Aerie's usually happen wandering about town. Anomen's usually happen right before or right after big major fights. Kelsey's tend to happen right before the major shiznit goes down (last tear in Hell, right before Draconis, right before Sendai, etc.). And Kelsey's were always appropriate. Well, except the leg humping right before Draconis. We're about to get roasted and toasted, and all he can do is give a (ahem) sensory reminder of his love for the PC. (11 reloads, BTW.)

I would say the Final Guardians. They a hard one-by-one,tey are even harder if you let them all out at once. It`s not boring you know.

I had the most trouble with the spell casting guy (can't remember his name, but he used time stop and was pretty damn strong). I took out the mother hive and her gang with no reloads and Big D in maybe 3 or 4 reloads. I managed the whole thing right before D with out reloading. I was a bit cheap though, I used imprisonment onthe mother hive since she used death spells on me IIRC.

For me it was trying to figure out why the hell I had to go through that outside of your body experience. You know the one, where you can open a chest, choose to go one way or another, fight a gibberling, etc. What was the point of that anyway?

The point was to get the key.
I think it was nice addition to the game. Like mini-game. In fact,I consider this as the best quest in ToB becuase there aren`t many sidequests in ToB. More fighting.

Yes, that was a cool quest. More interesting than fighting Demo, anyway.

hello, everyone, this is my first post here...^^

I just finished Tob (starting with SoA) again this afternoon; I Watcher's Keep, somehow I have a tougher time beating the Lich (the one with bunch of Flaming skull with him); I don't need to reload against Demogorgon and those Final Guardians...but with that Lich...

first off, some of the flame skulls will do a self fire explosion while they die, couple of my NPCs die instantly@"@

then...just as my Barbarian fighter is about to great whirling the near death Lich, he imprisons me!!! I don't remember this Lich being able to cast imprisonment.

So, I reloaded, and let my PC stay far away from the Lich slaughtering those flaming skulls, and send Mazzy to deal with him. This time, he died before casting imprisonment.

here is the question...are both Lich and Demi-Lich able to cast imprisonment? I thought only Demi-Lich can do that?

Welcome to Ironworks!

(I finally got to do that! Yay!)

To answer your question: Liches can cast Imprisonment as well. However, I think that Demi-Liches cast it rapid-fire, although that's possibly a
