Conway just delivered his concession speech from the Galt House in Louisville.

I hope that the tea bagger Rand Paul does right for a state that is not his, but must claim him as our senator.

I guess we can thank BHO for campaign finance reform, in which Conway was out spent by 5 Mil to every 1 Mil!

Just watched Marco Rubio's speech from my home state, and wow, what a speech!

I can't tell if this thread is about general or specific election returns. That said, I'll not that Reid kept his seat, which I didn't expect and Alexi did not win, another unexpected thing.

Rand should do fine. He seems to stick by his dad's politics, and I have had about a 75% or more agreeance rate with Ron's policies.

And with 99% of precincts reporting, the Florida Governor's race is still too close to call. Rick Scott (R) has 49%, Alex Sink (D) with 48%... She was 6% behind when they first started reporting last night, and has been catching up all night...

The house gets an Orange American for Speaker. Yay.

Note how all the kooks who ate up 60% of the media coverage lost... as was expected.

You don't have BHO to thank for campaign finance reform, you have the SCOTUS. They have firmly ruled that every corporation has a firm right to anonymously fund whomever they want.

Our politics will not get well until we find a way to fix the disease that is campaign finance and spending. But with the SCOTUS holding that fictional legal entities, corporations, have the full 1st Amendment rights that all humans do, I don't see it happening soon.

The circus has arrived in our house again. Just think of all the cool acts in store for us! I mean sure, we saw them perform a few years back, but we want to be reminded of just how frightening they were to behold.
