I know Nintendo are good at what they do, but I cannot possibly see how any good can come of this...
Metroid and Zelda were the two things that made Nintendo the best game makers a while ago(for me), but for all I care, they can go ahead and make a Zelda pinball game, I am no longer going out of my way to support the DS/any other console(havent seen a good gamecube game for months) or its game makers, they can all go and make more sh***y games for all I care.

I may still look into Zelda:Twilight Princess, but the half year delay has turned me off enough as it is.

True, its been a while since a truly impressive GC game has been released, but I would imagine that the Revolution and DS may be preoccupying them a bit.

No one likes delays, but in most delays I've experienced, it was because the developers felt they needed to improve the game beyond what was originally created.

Dude...they are making a voice activated real-time strategy midieval Japanese warfare pinball game for the gamecube. Nintendo, for some reason, likes to make pinball games occaisionally. I hear Metroid is one of the first for the DS to have a rumble pak, too.

Reminds me that I need to get "Under the Knife" at some point...I just feel the need to perform surgery on my DS.

I agree, I have tried to stand up for Nintendo, adn have argued furiously with others over the greatness of Nintendo's stuff in comparisson to Sony and Microsoft, but I have run out of ammunition, I mean what have I got left? The gameboy micro? what a joke!
The Revolution? I am still interseted in it, but general public with limited console knowledge think little of anything that doesnt claim to have the latest and greatest and better than a desktop computer specs....

Nintendo had a great hit with their Nintendo 64 and their gameboy, but even by the gameboy advance they were pushing their luck, it didn't do anything else but have two extra buttons and require new game cartridges, then they released all these slightly different portable consoles that frankly confuse me and had pitiful specs, which have all be nicely cleaned up by the psp.
And then they add to their miserable attempts on the portable market with a console that can't even play a dvd!
I mean what is that company thinking, they were amazing, and released some amazing games, and even more recently you see a glimer of hope with metroid or zelda as hive has said, but i just feel like they have lost their touch, it's a shame, but as far as i am concerned it has been a long time coming.

64's were the best of their time, and are still good today. Gamecube though has lost all hope and conker reloaded is on xbox, which was presently on nintendo. 2 loyal fans gone.. ive joined the pc.
