Five encouraging points for Jackson here though:

On Monday, Davellin broke down on the witness stand as she could be heard extolling the virtues of Mr Jackson during the 45-minute tape. She said that at that point she had "still liked Mr Jackson".

Maybe it's just me, but this almost makes it sound like these allegations are because she doesn't like him anymore - more petty perhaps than originally appears?

The girl alleged last week she saw Mr Jackson give alcohol to her brother and said his aides intimidated her family. But when questioned by the defence, she said she had earlier lied about key details in the case.

So now we have prosecution witnesses admitting lying under oath - it must make one question how many other allegations are untrue...

In his evidence, Star Arviso said Mr Jackson had showed the two brothers pornographic websites during a visit they paid to his Neverland ranch, in which they slept in his bed and the singer slept on the floor.

I admit its not exactly 'model' behaviour - but if the prosecution account says that Jackson slept on the floor whilst the brothers were in his bed, at least we know that no 'serious' molestation has been taking place.

This seems to be corroborated by this:

The younger brother was expected to testify that he witnessed Mr Jackson fondling his brother on at least two occasions at the ranch.

The fact that he was expected to do so, yet didn't when under oath, has to say something about this case. Who 'expected' him to do so - the media. I'm sensing agenda here...

Star Arviso also said that Mr Jackson gave his brother what appeared to be alcohol in a can in his hotel in Miami in 2003. "He [Gavin] wasn't acting right, he was acting funny. I saw the brim... of his 7-Up can... 7-Up is clear and I saw red on the can," Star said.

This is 'weaker' than I was expecting with regards to the alcohol - I expected him to be giving them bottles of beer, or at least for an adult to have ascertained that the liquid was definitely alcohol.

I don't bloody care anymore. Execute him. Just execute him! I don't believe in the death penalty, but unless they execute him, he'll get off. And then in a few years they'll have another trial. And he'll get off. And he'll get more plastic surgery. And they'll have another trial. And this will go on until the day I die. It'll go on for thousands of years, because there's nothing human in him TO die. It was surgically replaced last year.

Execute him and end this media frenzy! I am so SICK of commercials telling me about how a news show I don't watch has "new footage" of a Jackson interview. I don't CARE! I want him executed so I don't ever have to listen to anything about the Jackson trial ever ever again.

The bad thing about this case is the plaintiff. And, what's so sad is that a molestor may once again go free. I may have given MJ the benefit of the doubt beforehand -- but that was before I saw the tapes of his interview with the boy. There is enough evidence to bring to bear on him, but the complainant's hands are so darned dirty (and greedy)the jury may let him go.

Sorry, in a rush, but in the interests of fair reporting by me, I should point out that the brother's second testimony was much more damaging, alleging that serious sexual contact took place. Looks like I was jumping the gun a bit with my original post.

I suffer from train wreck syndrome so I always end up watching somehow. I'd be otherwise ok if it went away, and agree that it's getting old.

I'd say things are going VERY well for Jackson so far.

Every piece of 'evidence' the prosecution has presented so far has had more holes in than a block of swiss cheese.

Even the two brothers disagree on what 'happened'.

Ooh, I do enjoy a bit of cheese. And yeah, that south park episode is just great! "I'm up in my wishing treeee!" And Cartman & Mr. Jefferson in the bed when Stan has that dream is sooo funny!
