i have to kill this dude for bohdi (cant remember his name) and leave a cloak and dagger i have done it but when i ask her about it she says i havent

Could you be more specific, I don't remember the quest to well. Was it for the new thieve guild members that you had to kill??

If you read your Journal, you would see that even if you'd already killed the guy, you still haven't completed all the details of the quest. Go back and see what you missed.
