Hi all! Long time no see eh? Well I'm coming here becuase I need to get this out. A friend of mine named Aljoša (would be Alex in English) passed away on tuesday (after being hit by a car) aged only 14. He was riding a bike along the road when somehow a driver just hit him with like 70 KPH ... Aljoša ended up with broken ribs, back and fractured skull. That happend on sunday. For two days he was fighting for his live and this battle unfortunately he did not manage to win. If he was to survive he would be disabled for the rest of his life. From this point of view maybe it's better that he died ... rather then being a plant for his whole life not knowing what joy is, how he could move through the world ...

And yes he was only 14 years old he had a whole life ahead of him. That why it's importnat to appriciate every moment you have and that you are healthy not disabled and so on.

If I could get one of my thoughts into your head and only one, it would be this. I want you to realise the gifts you have and promote positive thought. Stop for one second and think,…. When you go out in the morning, your walking.. you have no pain, you can see and hear for example, but imagine if you didn't have those gifts. What would you give to have them back? You never realise what you have until you loose it. I am just a normal guy from a average town, there is nothing extra special about me, except I truly realise that the foundations I have been given can be worked on to create something beyond belief. I just want people to be positive about themselves and realise that if you put your mind, heart and soul to something you can achieve it.

I'm always thinking outside the box and I like to write down my thoughts, I make notes on my phone when I think of them. Here are a few.

"When I fail, it's because I haven't set my heart on it. To move forward in life we must have a goal. When you set goals you have somewhere to go, a purpose. Time is valuable, don't waste it, and do good with it. You will feel incredible for it."

"If you want to succeed, work HARD! You get what you deserve, simple worldly fact Don't wait for opportunity, grab it by the balls. "

"Look around you, look at the beauty of this Earth, now imagine you have a disability and can't see,… be aware of the gifts you have."

"If things are hard that's good! Imagine if everything you ever wanted was given to you. How would you develop yourself? Enjoy life's challenges and over come them :"

"I'm just glad we got to see each other
Talk and re-meet each other
Save a place in Heaven
Til the next time we meet forever"

You have my sympathies and prayers, Xen. Sometimes people leave us far too early... and Aljoša has done that.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings, and the inspirational thoughts that have come to your mind from this. Death is never easy for those who remain behind, but if you (and others, like me) can take some thoughts and lessons from Aljoša's death, then he will continue to live on.

I bid you peace, Xen... and friendship and support from myself and Ironworkers throughout the world.

Any excuse for a hug. You never know when it will be the last one.

It is always a sad thing when someone is taken so young.

My condolences.

How ironic it is of life, that the best lesson's it can teach usually come with tragedy, be it the death of a friend, or family member, or other tragic events. Both your words Xen, and Animal's words serve as examples for anyone that life should not be taken for granted, and that you should try enjoying it as long as you can.

I am very sorry for what happened to Aljoša, his passing is both too early and way injust. Remember the best moments you passed together with him, don't let him be forgotten. I'm sure that he would very much like that.
